Welcome to Ranting Extreme. This site aims to provide a platform for interesting criticism and discussion of videogames. The site was set up due to a general frustration with the lack of adequate coverage games are getting in the mainstream press, and the gradual disappearance of quality paper-based games magazines. This basically means we want to use this site to cover the things that the 'proper' games critics are too scared/sensible/indifferent to write about. That covers the "Ranting" part. The "Extreme" part refers to the Extreme lengths of time between updates.
