Gamespot - The best reviews site in my opinion (especially once you've blagged membership).
Eurogamer - Gamespot's local cousin - quality, though sometimes a little bland.
Blue's News - long-running PC gaming news rag. If it's not on Blue's it probably didn't happen.
Gamasutra - an exemplary games development resource/journal.
Game Studies - Probably the best stab at a 'proper' academic games journal (albeit slightly pretentious).
